Medical & Legal Conference Italy

The Conference will be based on the main Aeolian Island, Lipari, Italy.
The academic and professional program has always been the centrepiece of our conferences, but an equally important part is the networking activities we organise outside of the formal program. Over the years many delegates have forged professional links with other practitioners arising out of meeting for the first time at the conferences. The synergy of medical and legal practitioners at these conferences has lead to a greater understanding of each other’s role and broken down many barriers. Delegates have also reported that the informal interaction with other delegates has lead to an exchange of ideas and methodologies, and an enhancement of professional camaraderie among fellow practitioners including referrals both fellow medical practitioners and lawyers.
CONFERENCE EVENTS
• Group snorkel or scuba dive,
• Afternoon to evening cruise, including swimming off the boat, dinner on board, stopping at the islands of Panarea and Stromboli & watching the volcanic flares of Mt Stromboli at night from the boat.
• BBQ lunch on a small boat in an isolated cove plus swimming
• Guided tour of the archaeological museum regarded as one of the best of its kind for ancient Greek artefacts
• Dine at a different restaurants on the island, each being a gastronomic feast
• Morning swims in the pristine clear waters
Or just wander around at your pace discovering little trattoria’s to eat at or little bays to sit on to soak in the atmosphere

Medical & Legal Conference Prague
20th - 27th July 2012
The Conference is to be held in Prague, Czech Republic.
Conference sessions will run on 4 days of the conference for a disciplined 4 hours, generally starting early to late afternoon depending on the days social event/s.
Conference sessions always include a paper on medical litigation and a separate session on medical law. And we try to do such sessions in an interesting way – like when husband & wife team Dr Dan Peleg head of delivery ward in Rabin Medical Centre &, Attorney At Law, Israel, gave a joint presentation on Caesarean Delivery on Maternal Request – Medico-Legal Aspects (Yael Peleg being a plaintiff medical litigation lawyer!). Other fascinating medical speakers at these conferences have included Dr Karl-Heinz Kuenzel, Professor of Anatomy – University of Innsbruk who cut up the Ice Man & gave a discourse on forensic anatomy using the Ice Man as an example. Clinical papers have also been given on asbestos diseases, intellectual property & medicine, and a host of other areas.
